How it works

1
Reads every word

Digital PDFs are read directly. Scanned pages are straightened and read with OCR, which also scores how sure it is of each word.

2
Understands the layout

Finds the column headings (Date, Description, Paid out, Balance…), joins descriptions that run over two or three lines, and keeps each amount in its own column.

3
Proves the numbers

Each row's amount must move the previous balance to the printed balance. Rows that pass are confirmed; rows that don't are highlighted.

4
You stay in control

Click a row to see it on the original page, correct anything in the preview, then download Excel (with highlights) or CSV.

Questions

Is it really free? Do I need an account?

Yes, it's free and there's no sign-up, email or card. Just upload and download.

What happens to my bank statement?

Your PDF is processed in memory and deleted as soon as it has been read — it is never saved to disk. The extracted rows are sent to your browser once and then deleted from our server. Nothing is used to train AI. See the privacy policy.

Which banks are supported?

It reads the layout of each statement rather than relying on fixed templates, so it works with most banks, credit cards and PayPal: separate Paid in/Paid out columns, a single Amount column with minus signs, CR/DR markers, a separate Dr/Cr column, European 1.234,56 amounts, dates with or without the year, and dates printed once per day.

Will it be 100% accurate?

No converter can promise that, especially for scans. That's why every amount is checked against the running balance and anything that can't be confirmed — a low-quality scan, a date that could be read two ways, an amount between two columns — is highlighted in yellow with the reason. Nothing is silently guessed.

Can it read scanned or photographed statements?

Yes. Scans are straightened and read with OCR; phone photos are also cropped to the page, flattened and evened out for shadows. Lines it is unsure about are read a second time with a more accurate model. For best results use good light and keep the whole page in the photo. Reference codes from scans (like transaction IDs) are highlighted when letters such as O and 0 could be mixed up.

Can I convert several statements at once?

Yes. Drop up to 12 files. You get one Excel file with every statement on its own sheet plus an "All transactions" sheet, and a check that each month's closing balance is the next month's opening balance.

Which languages?

English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese and Arabic statements — choose the language before converting so scanned pages are read with the right alphabet.
